How to create an application based on a blueprint

You can create an application instance from scratch or based on an existing blueprint.

To create an application instance based on a blueprint:

1      On the Applications page or in the Blueprint design workspace, click Create Application.
The New Application dialog box is displayed.

2      In the Name field, enter a name for the application.

3      In the Create instance section, select Based on blueprint, then select the base blueprint
from the dropdown list. (If you selected Create Application from the blueprint design workspace,
the blueprint  is selected for you by default.)

4      If you are creating an application based on a public VM, select an existing key pair from the Key Pair
dropdown list or click Plus sign.png  to add a new key pair.

5     In the Publish application section, select Publish later if you do not want to publish
the instance now or select Auto-publish upon creation.

6     Click OK. The application design workspace opens in a new tab automatically.
