You create an application design using the Design Editor.
When you create an application from scratch, the design workspace is an empty canvas.
The key design objects that can be included in your application design are virtual machine image objects, service interface objects, connections, and groups. How to add these objects is described in these sections:
Each object is represented by a specific icon, as described in Design Editor Object Icons.
When you have completed the design, you can publish the instance or you can save it as a blueprint.
Note: Your design is automatically saved while you work.
Tip: For a list of the options available in the Design Editor, see Design Editor Toolbar Options.
