How to add a VM to your design

The Design Editor includes the  Image Library, which  lists all of the VM images that have been loaded into the service and are available to include in your design. This includes default VMs supplied by Ravello.

If the image you require does not appear in the list, you can click Import VM to add it to the library, making it available for use.

To add a VM to your design, drag the image name from the Image Library onto the workspace. If you want it to be part of a group, drag it directly onto the group object (the group object outline turns blue when selected).

Tip: When you select a VM on the workspace, its details appear below the workspace, where you can edit the image properties for this design only. The source image in the library is not modified.
